financial support through contracts and contribution agreements.
Contests
A competitive means of finding and rewarding creative solutions to our
toughest challenges. Each contest focuses on one defence and security
challenge identified by the program.
Test Drive
Test Drives is the assessment of the innovators product or service in a
real world environment. It gives the opportunity to defence personnel to
acquire and evaluate the solutions.
Innovation Networks
IDEaS supports the establishment of innovation networks among
academics, industry and other partners to stimulate collaboration
and the free flow of ideas critical to innovation.
Sandboxes
Sandboxes allows innovators to test their solutions to published challenges.
The scenario and environment are provided by the Department of
National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces, and participants receive
observational feedback from experts and potential users.
