DASHBOARD
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command
(USNORTHCOM) are separate commands but with a common goal of defence of the United States and
Canada.
In March 2021, NORAD and USNORTHCOM issued a strategy summary, which is a combined strat-
egy that aligns with objectives identified in the Interim National Security Strategic Guidance, National
Defense Strategy, and Canada's Strong, Secure, Engaged policy. In this Dashboard, we take a look at the
four strategic principles of NORAD and USNORTHCOM as outlined in the NORAD and USNORTHCOM
Strategy Executive Summary.
