he Best Defence Conference continues to
be a defence conference that encompasses
land, air, and sea. This year we decided public
safety and security had to become part of the
conference as well.
The Technology Showcase continues to be an integral
part of the conference with companies displaying new in-

Since 2003, DAVWIRE has excelled at
designing and manufacturing high-quality
electromechanical systems and wire har-
nesses for the Aerospace & Defence in-
dustry. To help our customers address in-
creasingly complex challenges, DAVWIRE
designs and builds custom test and mea-
surement equipment for research, prod-
uct development, and design verification.
Currently, our R&D efforts are focused
on leveraging additive manufacturing and
bottom-up material design to develop in-
novative solutions for current industry
challenges. To support this effort, our en-
gineering team developed a suite of equip-
ment and custom instruments.
We will be highlighting our capabili-
ties and showcasing our Pulsed Electro-
acoustic (PEA) Measurement System at
the Best Defence Conference in London
Ontario. This system gives invaluable in-
sight into the inner workings of dielectrics
by providing real-time visualization of in-
ternal charge. The PEA system has broad
implications for the design of advanced
dielectrics for the aerospace and defense
industry, particularly for the electrification
of mobile platforms and satellite systems.
