ALAIN GAUTHIER
Alain Gauthier spent 23 years in the Royal
Canadian Armoured Corps before making
the transition to industry. Starting with
Thales and moving through roles at Mack
Defense and Marshall Land Systems, he built
a career grounded in partnership and trusted
relationships. Today, as Senior Director of
Defence Solutions at Calian Group, he is focused
on delivering sovereign capability in support of
Canada's Defence Industrial Strategy.
Gauthier's approach to industry is shaped by a
lesson he learned early in his civilian career:
that the most effective teaming arrangements
are not built on contracts alone, but on personal
integrity and trusted relationships between
partners. That conviction has guided every role
he has held since leaving uniform.
