Jonathan "Lee" Obst
"It all seems
to work out
in the long run."
After capping a 21-year-long career in the
Royal Canadian Air Force as a CF-18 fighter
pilot, Lee never expected that he would one
day find himself deep in a jungle in southern
Africa discussing C-130 modernization plans
with an Air Force general. He never thought
he would be talking about maritime com-
munication retrofits with an Israeli admiral
either. But such are the demands of his new
career, and Lee has risen to the challenges
quite well.
Today, as president and managing direc-
tor of Rockwell Collins Canada, Lee leads a
team of highly capable and innovative peo-
ple engaged in some of the most exciting
projects in the industry.
Through iT all, lee has

"Follow your heart and be open to
taking assignments that don't seem
to be perfectly aligned with your
career trajectory."
