The Piranha 5 CCV takes the capabilities needed by the Canadian Army to the next level. It is the fi fth generation of General Dynamics' combat-proven LAV family of armoured vehicles. With more than 40 million operational kilometres in missions around the world, the LAV continues to evolve. Delivering maximum mobility, superior fi repower and advanced armour protection, the Piranha 5 CCV is a vehicle the Canadian soldier can depend on in medium to high threat environments. The vehicle will be made in Canada by General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada and supported by a powerful Canadian team of sub-contractors and suppliers.
