THE DASHBOARD
The need for actionable information is driving the
deployment of vast networks of sensor, video, manned
and unmanned surveillance aircraft, satellite, radar and
other system inputs, collecting petabyte upon petabyte
of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance data
every day.
This information is fed into C3 – or Command, Control
and Communications – centres for processing, analysis
and decision making. However, the legacy audio-visual
and IT architectures of most C3 centres inhibits the
sharing and understanding of this data, and can pose
a security risk from intentional or accidental hacking or
data breach when dealing with confidential or classified
information.
INHIBITS INSTANT SITUATIONAL AWARENESS
FACILITATES THE INSIDER THREAT

Limited collaboration between desks
and users
Excessive equipment, cabling,
heat, noise from PCs
Hard drives, USB, network
ports accessible to user
Maintenance requires IT team to enter
command & control room
Does not meet information assurance
(IA) directives for data security
Changing classification level requires
re-wiring system, leads to delays
SCIFs, conference rooms
Computers and cabling accessible,
not air-gapped
Cluttered, unproductive work
environment
Opportunity for accidental or
